FIAC (International Contemporary Art Fair) Special Projects, Jardin des Tuileries, Paris
Since 2006, FIAC and the musée du Louvre present for exhibition, some twenty outdoor works deployed in the various spaces of the Jardin des Tuileries, such as fountains, basins, lawns, alleys and groves. Sculptures, installations, site-specific projects, performances and sound pieces echo with the patrimonial context and respond to the scale and the perspectives of the by Garden, creating an impressive outdoor exhibition.

A tower of ornate, jewel-like confections are crowded together resembling the fantastical spires and geometries of the skyline of an advanced civilization. However, closer inspection reveals the desserts–melting, moldering and covered with insects–are more reminiscent of a decadent society in decline.
