Denny Gallery is pleased to present work by Liz Nielsen, Amanda Valdez and a new collaboration with Future Retrieval at Art Toronto, from October 23 to 26, 2015. The booth will include new paintings by Amanda Valdez made of fabric, paint and embroidery, both on rectangular and circular formats as well as a variety of camera-less photographs by Liz Nielsen. Both artists have a way of yielding color and form in a simplified yet complicated way. Although often categorized as abstract artists they both pull most of their “imagery” from physical objects and the human body. Ceramic vases, as a result of the collaboration between Amanda Valdez and Future Retrieval, will also be exhibited for the first time at Art Toronto.

Founded in 2000, Art Toronto is Canada’s international contemporary and modern art fair, located at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in the city’s downtown core. Now in its 16th year, Art Toronto presents important artwork from leading Canadian and international galleries.
